Tenossuh goes all the way in Pres. Carlos Paes de Barros

New Stakes winner for Elusive Quality

Elusive Quality sired his 99th lifetime Stakes winner July 6 as three-year-old colt Tenossuh won the Listed Pres. Carlos Paes de Barros at Cidade Jardim in Brazil. In the 1000-meter race Tenossuh broke straight to the lead and held that position throughout the race to capture his first Stakes victory easily.

The Elusive Quality colt is out of G3 Julio Subercaseaux winner Madour, who is also the dam of G1 Gran Premio Major Suckow winner Pippa and Group-placed Roddick.

Elusive Quality is the sire of top runners around the world. His progeny include G1 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, G1 Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, Australian Champion Sepoy, and multiple G1-winning filly Elusive Kate. 2014 has been headlined by Shuruq, a two-time Group winner in Meydan this year, as well as Champion Certify who won the G2 Cape Verdi Stakes over the same course, among others.

Elusive Quality stands for $50,000 live foal, stands and nurses.
