Street Sense’s Walk of Stars shines in Pink Ribbon Stakes

Walk of Stars shot to the front at the start and had just enough left in the tank to win the seven furlong $100,000 Pink Ribbon Stakes at Charles Town on Saturday

It was the first stakes win for the hard-knocking four-year-old daughter of Street Sense, who improved her record to five wins from 16 career starts. The victory also provided Street Sense with his 38th career stakes winner.

Star Kell, the dam of Walk of Stars, has also produced Strike the Moon, winner of the Charles Town Oaks and runner-up in the G2 Delaware Oaks and G2 Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes.

Street Sense continues to have a terrific year of runners, one that has been headlined by G1 Ogden Phipps Stakes winner Wedding Toast, G1 Las Virgenes Stakes winner Callback, Australian G1 winner Hallowed Crown, and G2 King Edward Stakes victor Tower Of Texas.
